Application of Act to certain articles and substances
The Minister may by order published in the Gazette specify any description or class of articles or substances appearing to him to be articles or substances which are not medicinal products but which are manufactured, sold, supplied, imported or exported for use wholly or partly for a medicinal purpose or as a cosmetic product, and may by that order direct that, subject to such exceptions and modifications as may be specified in the order, such provisions of this Act as may be so specified (including any provisions so specified which relate to offences or penalties) shall have effect in relation to articles or substances of that description or class as those provisions have effect in relation to medicinal products.
