Section 144
(1)
Any provision or interpretation of any provision in this Act that is inconsistent with Hukum Syara’ shall be invalid to the extent of its inconsistency.

(2)
In relation to any matter which is not expressly provided for in this Act or in any rules made under this Act, the Court shall apply Hukum
Syara’.
