Section 141
(1)
Every register or index of marriage, divorce, annulment and ruju’ kept by the Chief Registrar or Registrar under this Act shall be open for inspection by any person on payment of the prescribed fee.
(2)
The Chief Registrar or Registrar, as the case may be, shall on payment of the prescribed fee, furnish a copy of the entry in the register and index of marriage, divorce, annulment or ruju’, certified under the hand or seal of the office of the Chief Registrar or Registrar, as the case may be, to any person requiring it.
