Section 47

All monies, documents, jewellery, clothing and other personal effects belonging to a resident which are not allowed to be retained by him shall be placed in the custody of the Warden who shall keep an inventory of belongings in the property book kept under regulation 45{e).

Every inventory shall be signed or authenticated by the resident and the

Warden and witnessed by a member of the staff.

All items placed in the custody of the Warden under sub-regulation !1)

shall be returned to the resident on his discharge from the place of safety.
