Section 44

The Registrar of Births and Deaths shall, immediately after the registration with him of the birth of any child, give a notice in Form I in the Third Schedule to the parent, or, in the event of the death, illness, absence or inability of the parent, to the person having the custody of such child, requiring such child to be duly vaccinated.
