Throwing infected articles into drains or streets, etc.
of Quarantine and Prevention of Disease Act
(1)
Any person, who knowingly casts or causes or permits to be cast into any drain, ditch, water channel, street or open space or otherwise exposes any matter or article infected or which may have been infected by infectious disease, shall be guilty of an offence: Penalty, a fine of $100.
(2)
The local authority shall cause its officers to serve notices of the provision of this section on the occupier of any house or part of a house in which it is aware that there is a person suffering from an infectious disease.
