Power to fix rates of postage
(1)
The Minister may, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, by notification published in the Gazette, fix the rates of postage and other fees or sums to be charged in respect of postal articles sent under this Act and may prescribe the scale of weights, dimensions, terms and conditions according or subject to which the rates so fixed shall be charged.
(2)
The Minister may, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, amend in accordance with changes in overseas postal rates and changes notified to him by the Universal Postal Union, the rates of postage and other fees or sums to be charged in respect of postal articles sent under this Act to places outside Brunei Darussalam.
