Section 6A
Minister may grant licence [S 17/1997]
(1)
The Minister may, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, grant a licence on such conditions and in consideration of such sum as he thinks fit to any person for the doing of any act or the performance of any service falling within section 5(1) or 6 as is mentioned in the licence; and anything done under and in accordance with such a licence shall not constitute a contravention of the exclusive privilege conferred by section 5(1) or 6.

(2)
Notwithstanding any provision in the licence —
(a)
a licence shall not be transferred by the licensee without the prior written approval of the Minister;
(b)
the Minister may, with the approval of His Majesty the
Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, suspend or revoke a licence upon a breach of any condition or in default of the payment of any sum due thereafter.
