The Pensions Regulations, 1957, shall apply to the grant, to the rank and file, of pensions, gratuities and al­

lowances and to the calculation and payment thereof in like manner as if members thereof held pensionable offices within the meaning of the

Pensions Enactment, 1957, and Enactment No.

In giving effect to this regulation, the modifications in-the next regulation and any other modification which the

Sultan in Council may deem necessary for applying the Pen-sions Enactment,

the rank and file shall likewise have effect.
