Section 99
(1)
No young person shall be employed on any ship except as permitted by regulations made under this section.
(2)
The Minister may, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and
Yang Di-Pertuan, make regulations prescribing the circumstances in which and the conditions subject to which young persons who have attained such specified age may be employed on a ship in such capacities as may be specified.
(3)
If any person is employed on a ship in contravention of any regulations made under this section or if any condition subject to which a person may be employed under any such regulation is not complied with, the owner or the master of the ship shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a nne not exceeding $5,000.
