Section 98
(1)
A person shall not demand or receive, directly or indirectly, from a seaman, or from a person seeking employment as a seaman, or from a person on his behalf, any remuneration whatever for providing him with employment.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a nne not exceeding $5,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or both.
