Section 45
(1)
In order to obtain such information as he may consider necessary for the purposes of carrying out the provisions of this Order, the Registrar may –
(a)
require any former or present partner or manager of a limited liability partnership to answer any question in writing which he may consider necessary to ask for the purposes specified in this subsection; and
(b)
summon that person to appear before him or any inspector whom the
Registrar may designate or before any police officer, to ensure such question orally.

The Registrar may further require the person referred to in subsection (1) to make such further declaration or supply such further particulars as the Registrar may require.
(3)
Any person who, without lawful excuse, fails to comply with any requirement or summons of the Registrar under this section is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or both.
