Section 47
(1)
The Registrar may compound any offence under this Order which is prescribed as a compoundable offence by collecting from the person reasonably suspected of having committed that offence a sum not exceeding one-half of the amount of the maximum fine prescribed for the offence, or a sum not exceeding $5,000, whichever is lower.
(2)
The Minister may, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, make regulations to prescribe the offences which may be compounded.
