Section 126

Any person who gives to the Registrar, an incorrect oral or written statement or declaration in respect of any matter to be recorded or registered by the Registrar in accordance with the provisions of this Act which he knows or has reason to believe to be false is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000, imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or both.
