Section 8

The Minister may from time to time give an officer appointed under this Part directions of a general nature, and not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act or any regulations made thereunder, as to the exercise of the powers and discretion conferred on the officer by, and the duties required to be discharged by the officer under, this Act and regulations made thereunder, in relation to all matters which appear to the Minister to affect the

National Education Policy, and the officer shall give effect to every such direction.
