Section 26
(1)
An authorised officer may require the disinfection of any conveyance —
(a)
entering or leaving an area declared to be an infected area under section 37(1); or
(b)
which has been used in the transport of any animal infected with, or in the opinion of the authorised officer infected with, disease.
(2)
Any person who fails without lawful excuse to comply with any requirement under subsection (1) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or both.
