Section 24

Where the result of the examination of any sample taken from any meat or meat product under section 22ll)(c} reveals that the meat or meat product is diseased, adulterated or unfit for human consumption, the Director or an authorised officer may direct the owner of the meat or meat product or the agent of such owner to destroy or treat or otherwise dispose of the meat or meat product in such manner as he thinks fit, and the costs thereof and incidental thereto shall be borne by such owner or agent thereof.
