Section 36

Notwithstanding other provision of this Act, the Minister may, at any time, give directions in writing to a licensed travel agent, licensed tourist guide and holder of certificate of registration to ensure compliance with the provisions of this Act or any rules made thereunder, and such directions shall be binding on the licensed travel agent, licensed tourist guide and holder of certificate of registration to whom they are made.

Any licensed travel agent, licensed tourist guide and holder of certificate of registration who fails or omits to act in accordance with the directions of the Minister under subsection (1) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 and to a further fine not exceeding $500 for every day during which the offence continues after conviction.
