"licence" means a licence under this Act and

"licensee" means the person to whom such licence is given;

"licensed dealer" means a person holding a licence to purchase rubber;

"licensing officer" means any person appointed by

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan in that behalf;

"rubber" includes the leaves, bark, latex or any other produce of any plant or tree yielding rubber or gutta percha in any form;

"to tap" with its grammatical variations and cog-nate expressions means to extract rubber by any means;

"to treat" with its grammatical variations and cog-nate expressions means to subject to any process whatever.
