Section 16
(1)
Every subordinate police officer who has com-pleted the period of service for which he was engaged may offer himself for re-engagement for a further period, and, if approved by the Commissioner, may be re-engaged on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by Police
Regulations.
(2)
Every such re-engagement shall be evidenced by an endorsement on the original engagement signed by the person re-engaged and by the Commissioner or such other senior police officer as may be authorised in that behalf by
Police Regulations.
