Section 597

In cases where, owing to the number of items, it is impossible to check all the stores, a test check shall be made and a certificate given by the officers concerned that so far as they are able to judge, the stocks are satisfactory as compared with the recorded balances.

Before this Regulation is applied by any department, the approval of the State Financial Officer is necessary .
