Section 596

When an officer is about to relinquish the duties of his post he shall check the stores in his charge with his successor, and both of-ficers shall sign a Certificate of Handing over Stores. This Certificate shall be prepared in duplicate, one copy being retained by the incom-ing officer and the other being filed by the Head of Department.
