Section 10
(1)
Every pension granted under this Act shall be subject to the condition that unless or until the officer has attained the age of 50 years or, in the case of a female officer, 45 years, the officer may, if physically fit for service be called upon by the Minister of Finance, with the approval of His
Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan*, to accept an office under the
Government not less in value than the office which he held at the date of his retirement.
(2)
If a pensioner so called upon declines without reasonable cause to accept such office, the payment of his pension may be suspended until he has attained the age of 50 years or, if a female officer, 45 years.
