Section 7
(1)
All training, assessment of competence, certification of seafarers, endorsement and revalidation of certificates shall be continuously monitored by the Director through a quality standards system in accordance with section A-II8
of the STCW Code whicJt shall also include the qualifications and experiences of the instructors and assessors.
(2)
The system shall be evaluated periodically, at intervals of not more than 5 years, by qualified persons appointed by the Director, who are not themselves involved in the activities concerned.
