Section 21

The Minister may designate a Government psychiatric facility to be a place of safe custody for the purposes of the admission or confinement of persons under section 247, 315, 317 or 321 of the Criminal Procedure Code

(Chapter 7) or under the corresponding provisions of any other written law.
