Section 23
(1)
On payment of the prescribed fee, the Marriage Registrar shall register the marriage in the presence of the parties and the witnesses by entering the marriage in the Marriage Register book in the form prescribed in the Fifth Schedule.
(2)
The entry shall then be signed by the Marriage Registrar, the parties to the marriage and the two witnesses.
