(2)
The occupier of any land who shall have proved, to the satisfaction of the officer in charge of the Land Office, that the land occupied by him has been under effective cul-tivation up to the date of the introduction of the Land Code 1907 shall be entitled as against any other claimant to re-ceive a title under this Code in respect of the land proved to have been so occupied and cultivated.
