Section 8
(1)
Any employer or other person who wilfully obstructs or impedes any entry, inquiry or investigation made under this Act or wilfully obstructs the service of, or obedience to, any summons and any person summoned who neglects to attend as required in such summons, and any person who commits in that connection any offence described in Chapter X of the Penal
Code (Chapter 22) shall be punished as provided in Chapter X of the Penal
Code (Chapter 22).
(2)
Any employer who contravenes or fails to comply with any order of the Commissioner or Health Officer made under section 4 or fails to report an accident, or alters, or causes, or permits to be altered any machinery, in contravention of the provisions of section 5 shall be guilty of an offence:
Penalty, a fine of $1,500 and in default thereof imprisonment for 6 months.
