The Board shall be responsible for making recommendations to the Council on all establishment matters concerning Kolej Universiti staff, including the following matters ..._

(aJ confirmation of staff in their posts on the permanent establishment;

(bJ placement of staff on the pensionable establishment in respect of staff who were appointed to posts on the permanent establishment prior to 1st. January, 1993;

(cJ promotion withJn a scheme of service;

(dJ review for adjustment of salaries;

(eJ crossing of efficiency bars in salary scales;

(fJ renewal and termination of service contracts; and

(gJ implementation of staff merit schemes as may be approved from time to time by the CounciL

Quorum.
