Section 72

Any wife may, on application to the Court, obtain an order against her husband for payment from time to time for any amount relating to the maintenance that she may be entitled to receive in accordance with

Hukum Syara’.

Any person who has been divorced by her husband may, on application to the Court, obtain an order against her former husband for payment during her ‘iddah period, if the divorce is by pronouncement of one or two talaq or during her period of pregnancy with her former husband for any amount of maintenance she may be entitled to receive and any other reasonable expenditure in accordance with Hukum Syara’.
