Section 15
(1)
If there is a failure by a general partner to sign and file a statement as required by any provision of sections 13 or 14, then, on an application to the ILP Registrar by any other partner or by any assignee of a partnership interest who is or may be affected by the failure, the ILP Registrar may direct such person as it sees fit to sign and file the statement on behalf of a general partner.
(2)
If there is a wilful failure to file a statement required by section 14 within the period specified in subsection (1) of that section or, as the case may be, subsection (2) of that section, each general partner who is in default –
(a)
shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars and to a further fine not exceeding one thousand dollars for each day after conviction on which the failure continues; and
(b)
shall be liable to indemnify any person who suffers any loss by reason of the failure.
