Section 163
(1)
Upon request by a registered agent and on payment of the prescribed fee, the
Registrar shall issue under his hand and seal a certificate certifying that an IBC or foreign international company is of good standing in Brunei Darussalam if he is satisfied –
(a)
that the name of the IBC is on the Register; and
(b)
that the IBC has paid all fees and other sums due and payable under this
Order.
(2)
A certificate of good standing issued under subsection (1) must contain a statement as to whether –
(a)
the IBC has submitted to the Registrar articles of merger or consolidation that have not yet become effective;
(b)
the Court has approved a compromise or arrangement under section 114
or the IBC is in the process of being wound up or dissolved;
(c)
proceedings have been initiated to strike the IBC off the Register.
