Section 18
Punishment of failure to comply with directions of Minister
of Housing Developers (Control and Licensing) Act
A licensed housing developer or housing developer who fails to —
(a)
take such steps as may be required by the Minister under section 17(2)(a);
(b)
act in accordance with the advice given by any person appointed by the Minister under section 17(2)(b);
(c)
if he is a body corporate, present a petition to the Court for the winding up of the body corporate in accordance with a direction made by the Minister under section 17(2)(d), is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000
and to a further fine not exceeding $500 for every day during which the offence continues after conviction.
