Section 41

Subject to the provisions of this Act, the salary and any other sum due to an employee who has been dismissed or whose contract of service has been terminated by his employer shall be paid on the day of dismissal or termination, as the case may be, or, if this is not possible, within 3 days thereafter, not including rest days and public holidays.
