Section 131
Enforcement of Commissioner’s order
(1)
Where an order has been made by the Commissioner under this
Part and the person against whom it is made fails to comply therewith, the
Commissioner may send a certified copy thereof to the registrar of the
Intermediate Courts or to any Court of a Magistrate.
(2)
The registrar or the Court of a Magistrate, as the case may be, shall cause the certified copy to be recorded and thereupon the order shall for all purposes be enforceable as a judgment of an Intermediate Court or of the
Court of a Magistrate, as the case may be, notwithstanding that the order may, in respect of amount or value, be in excess of the ordinary jurisdiction of that court:
Provided that no sale of immovable property shall for the purposes of such enforcement be ordered, except by the High Court.
