Section 49

Where an offence under this Act or any regulations made thereunder committed by a body corporate is proved to have committed with the consent or connivance of, or to be attributable to any act or default on the part of, any director, manager, secretary or other similar officer of that body corporate, or of any person purporting to act in any such capacity, he, as well as the body corporate, shall also be guilty of that offence and be liable to be proceeded against and punished accordingly.
