Section 48
(1)
Except for the purposes of this Act or for any prosecution for an offence under any written law or pursuant to any order of court, no person who has, pursuant to any powers conferred under this Part, obtained access to any electronic record, book, register, correspondence, information, document or other material shall disclose such electronic record, book, register, correspondence, information, document or other material to any other person.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or both.
