Authorised officers

Section 4
(1)
The Minister may, by notification published in the Gazette, appoint such number of authorised officers to carry into effect any specific provisions of this Act or of any regulations made thereunder.
(2)
Every authorised officer appointed under subsection (1) shall -
(a)
be furnished by the Authority with an official identification card of his appointment as an authorised officer or officer, as the case may be; and
(b)
when exercising any power under this Act, on demand, produce the identification card of his appointment to the person affected by the exercise of those powers.
