Section 25
(1)
It shall be the Minister’s duty to provide primary education in government schools.

(2)
The Minister may, subject to the provisions of this Act, establish government primary schools and shall maintain such schools.
(3)
The minimum age for entry into primary school shall be 6 years old.
(4)
Notwithstanding subsection (3), the Minister may make an exception where he thinks fit and allow a pupil between the age of 5 and 6
years old to enter primary school.
(5)
Subsections (3) and (4) shall also apply to private schools.
