Section 35
(1)
Except for the purpose of the performance of his duties or the exercise of his functions or when required to do so by any court or under the provisions of any written law, no police officer or officer of the Bureau shall disclose any information or matter which has been obtained by him in the exercise of any power or the execution of his duty under this Act.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year, to a fine or both.
