Section 390

Any member of the Royal Brunei Police Force may seize any property which is alleged or may be suspected to have been stolen, or which is found under circumstances which create suspicion that an offence has been committed, and such member, if subordinate to the officer in charge of the nearest police station, shall forthwith report the seizure to such officer.
