Section 18

If a child who is taken into temporary custody under section 13(1) or section 14(4) is hospitalised, the Permanent Secretary shall have the like control over, and responsibility for the maintenance of, that child as a person in charge of a place of safety would have had if the child had been placed in that place of safety.
