Section 78
(1)
In the case of the serious illness of any child or young person detained under this Act in an approved school, an approved home or a remand home in which there are no suitable facilities, the manager may, on the certificate of a medical officer, make an order for his admittance to a hospital.
(2)
So long as any child or young person who has been admitted to a hospital under subsection (1) remains there, the person having the management or control thereof shall, at the end of every month, transmit to the manager a certificate signed by him that it is in his opinion necessary that he should remain in the hospital.
