Section 10
(1)
The original registers of births and of deaths in the custody of the
Registrar and the duplicate registers in the custody of the Deputy Registrars shall, on payment of the prescribed fees, be open to inspection by any person on any day, not being a friday, sunday or holiday, between the hours of 10 in the forenoon and 4 in the afternoon; and the Registrar and every Deputy
Registrar shall, on payment of the prescribed fees, furnish to any person requiring the same a certified copy of any entry in any register in his charge.
(2)
Every copy of any entry in any register certified under the hand of the Registrar or of a Deputy Registrar in charge of the same for the time being to be a true copy shall, subject to the limitation in section 15 provided, be prima facie evidence in all courts and before all tribunals in Brunei
Darussalam of the dates and facts contained or set forth in such copy.
