Section 21
(1)
If an authorised officer considers that any animal has been exposed to infection to any disease, he may give written directions for that animal to be subjected to such treatment as he may consider necessary, including vaccine or serum therapy or a combination of such therapy.
(2)
Any person who fails without lawful excuse to comply with any written direction given to him under subsection (1) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or both.
