Section 81
(1)
Notwithstanding the other provisions of this rule, the Medical Officer shall, is practicable, visit the place of safety daily and at such times as the Director of Medical Services may determine.
(2)
The Medical Officer shall examine a woman or girl as soon as possible after her admission and before discharge. On each occasion the Medical Officer shall record the health of the woman or girl and such particulars as the
Superintendent may determine.
(3)
The Medical Officer shall see a woman or girl who complains of illness, and shall report to the Warden in writing regarding her fitness or otherwise to perform her work. She shall visit a sick woman or girl at such times as may be necessary. She shall attend as soon as is practicable on receiving information of the serious illness of any woman or gir 1.

(4)
The Medical Officer shall regularly visit a woman or girl under restraint, confined to a room, on restricted diet, and any other woman or girl to whom his attention is specially directed.
(5)
The Medical Officer shall regularly examine the provisions made for cleanliness and sanitation and examine that they are in efficient working order.
She shall report to the Warden any defect or insufficiency therein.
(6)
The Medical Officer shall keep a record of the death of a woman or girl, which shall include the following particulars-
{a}
the time and date when the deceased was taken ill and when the illness was first notified to her;
{b}
the nature of the disease;
{c}
an account of the results of any post-mortem examinations made and any special remarks that appear to her to be required.
