Section 66
(1)
The Warden shall be responsible for the maintenance of discipline in the place of safety.
(2)
The Warden shall also be responsible for all properties in a place of safety and shall keep the following records -
{a) an inventory of the furniture and tools;
{b)
a diary in which all occurrences of importance within the place of safety must be recorded;
{c) a nominal record of each woman or girl showing the date and period of her stay, the names and addresses of her parents, if known, any distinguishing marks, general appearance, race, language, nationality, apparent age, health, height and weight;
{d) a record of the conduct and health of a woman or girl while in the place of safety;
{e) a punishment book in which all punishments shall be recorded;
{f)
observations by members of the Discharge Committee;
{g)
an account book of all materials purchased for use in the workshops and the disposal thereof;

{hj a record of all articles made in the place of safety, and of all sales of such articles, showing cost of materials connected thereof.
(3)
In the absence of the Warden, the Assistant Warden shall have the powers and duties of the Warden.
(4)
The Warden and Assistant Warden shall not be absent from a place of safety at the same time.
(5)
The Assistant Warden and the subordinate staff of the place of safety shall be under the orders of the Warden.
