Section 33
A woman or girl 1 unless excused by the Medical Offi.cer on medical grounds1 shall perform any work as instructed at the place of safety and shall be taught 1 as far as possible1 useful tasks which may help her earn her livelihood on her discharge.
(2)
A woman or girl who has not been excused by the Medical Offi.cer shall be required to work at least 35 hours a week.
(3)
The Warden of a place of safety may introduce a scheme approved by the
Superintendent under which the women and girls may receive payment for work done.
