(1)
Any person who fails to comply with or contravenes any provision of or under this Act commits an offence and if no penalty is elsewhere in this
Act expressly provided for a particular offence such person is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine of $500 and imprisonment for 3 months.
(2)
Save with the consent of the Attorney General, no prosecution for an offence against this Act shall be commenced after the expiration of 3 years from the commission of the offence or 6 months from its discovery by the prosecutor, whichever is the earlier.
(3)
In any prosecution under this Act, any copy of a book, document or entry taken under the provisions of section 5(1)(e) shall be deemed prima facie correct and shall be receivable in evidence by a court and be of the same probative value as its original.
