Section 29
(1)
Any person who -
{a} wilfully obstructs the Director-General, any police officer or any authorised officer acting in pursuance of this Order;
{b}
wilfully fails to comply with any requirement under section 26
properly made to him by the Director-General, any police officer or any authorised officer; or
{c)
without reasonable cause, fails to give the Director-General, any police officer or any authorised officer any other assistance, information or document which the Director-General, police officer or authorised officer may reasonably require for the purpose of the performance of his functions under this Order, is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or both.
(2)
Any person who, in giving any such information as is mentioned in subsection (1), makes any statement which he knows to be false is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or both.
